Alirat is Launched!

This week marks the launch of Alirat Limited - the company under which Alirat Website Designs will operate. Its been a long time in the planning, a lot of angst and scribbles on napkins. I decided to keep the name Alirat because it is unique and easy to remember. And quirky. Gotta have quirky!

My first week will be full on with appointments and drawing up documents and sales plans etc etc, not to mention working on the bookings I have. I feel very excited to be doing what I love, giving up the nine to five, the traffic jams and the drudgery of number crunching. Although I'm leaving behind the accountancy I bring with me the legacy of having worked with businesses for the last 25 years and an understanding what small businesses need to survive.

I was sad to say goodbye to my team (they bought me the coolest card with rats on it, LOL), but I have a new team now - my sales team - and they will post here to introduce themselves.
