Well quite simply anyone who is a friend of yours is a friend of mine! Not everyone needs a website right now, but you may have a friend who does. We have a reward scheme so that if you send us a friend who buys one of our stunning websites - we say thank you with a $50 gift voucher!

How it works. Sign up for Alirat Website Design "Friends of the Rat" Newsletter and referral reward scheme. We keep a list of our Friends and if you let us know about someone who wants a website, we record that referral against your name. We contact that person and If that lead turns into a sale - we build them a website, and we send you a reward ($50 gift voucher - usually Westfield) as a thank you! Simple. We don't harrass or annoy people, we don't do the hard sell or ring people while they are trying to have their dinner. We treat our contacts with respect and we NEVER never give lists of email addresses away or otherwise exploit our potential customers. We don't exploit anyone as a matter of fact.

Will I get spammed by the Newsletter?

It is not our intention to annoy anybody and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our intention, in fact, is to amuse, entertain and inform, at infrequent intervals. If you check out the blog you will see articles that are very similar to those that go out in the newsletter. I know everyone gets sick of their inbox being stuffed with advertising, so do we. I am finding, however, that there are a few newsletters that I actually enjoy reading - and we are doing our best to make our newsletter one of those that stand out from the rest.

Do I have to get the newsletter to be a Friend of the Rat

...and receive my $50 voucher? No, absolutely not. You can sign up to be a Friend and unsubscribe from the newsletter straight away. This is not an automated process, there is a human being sitting here pushing the buttons, and you can talk to us at any time. The reason we keep a register of our Friends is that we always ask our new clients how they found us. If they say George recommended me, we want to be able to look George up and send his reward when their friends website is built. Having said that, its also a good idea to let us know if you are sending someone to us.

Well why hassle us with a newsletter?

Good question my friend. A wise person once said that a business that does not advertise is like a man who blinks in the dark. Hmm a bit cryptic - but you get the drift. We are a small but gutsy business launching ourselves into a competitive market, and just as we come up with marketing strategies for ourselves we can also inspire and give ideas to our clients.
